Looking ahead to 2013 -
WCC will perform the Mozart's Requiem with orchestra at the Young Auditorium in Whitewater on Sunday, April 13, 2013.  We will be looking for a Madison venue to perform it on April 12, 2013.  If you know of a space that would hold a 25 piece orchestra and large chorus (we will be supplementing our voices for this work), please contact Herr Gehrenbeck.
Need music?
  Email Kara Noah ASAP.
All the available mp3s are on the study page: http://wisconsinchamberchoir.org/study.html.  Instructions are provided for those who wish to burn their own CD.  Bookmark it.
Absences – Double check http://www.wisconsinchamberchoir.org/attend.html If you know you will be absent for a rehearsal – even if it is weeks or months in advance, e-mail Linda Palmer.  More than two missed rehearsals for a concert cycle must be cleared in advance with Bob Gehrenbeck.
Check this Member page frequently!  There is a link on the “About WCC” public page, otherwise it is a hidden link.
Member dues – We never wish to have the cost of membership deter anyone from membership in the choir.  If you wish to pay in installments, it’s fine – work it out with our Treasurer, Carrie Vanderford.
Challenging repertoire:  As a member of WCC, it is your responsibility to learn pitches and rhythms OUTSIDE the rehearsal.  Note pounding in the rehearsal holds us back from making the quality of music we wish to produce.
Next Concert date: June 3 (3:00) at FUMC.  Mark your calendars!
Recommended black folder: The Black Folder: Check "Deluxe" and "3 ring binder" (ECBF-A) = $36.40 with shipping: https://www.musicfolder.com/en/us/music-folders/the-black-folder.php/. Note: Deluxe has a strap that can be detached so the folder would lay flat on a piano. The folder comes with elastic traps to hold music, but a three ring binder is nice for hole punched music.
Singer Expectations and Schedule includes important information regarding the concert season including concert attire, contacts, snow storm policy, member dues and expectations.
WCC By-laws - How our organization is structured. We are a 501 (3)(C) non-profit organization. Do you know of a corporation or individual who may be interesting in supporting WCC? Contact Carrie Vanderford.

Concert week tips:  Go through your concert music daily to get accustomed to the repertoire in your voice.  The vocal chords are muscles - the more you exercise them correctly, the better they work for you.
